Thanks for the link, Kae. Parcels will be going out within the next fortnight.
Interesting to note that you can get the Do Send/Don't Send list short; in contrast to which the DoD link directs to an AusPost document 66 pages long. Guess which I'll be using as my reference? Hint: I'm time poor too. Not to mention fed up with [deleted][deleted][deleted] bureaucrats who seemed to obstruct the citizens at every opportunity.

Hey kae, just wanted to know if parcels can be sent to service personnel at other times through out the year. Eg. Anzac Day? I think it would be a great project for my class to get involved in.

Not sure, but it's the only address I have at the moment. Not able to get an address easily, unfortunately.
Please go to the DOD page for more info on what not to send as this has changed a little from when this site started.

Just wondering whether there is a current address for sending packages to Aussie troops overseas? I sent some to OP Slipper and would now like to send again, as would a friend. I do it in memory of my late father, a career soldier and a Vietnam Veteran. I was only fourteen when he died and have no Army connections any more, but I still think of him. I remember him saying that when you're a long way from home, even a bag of Minties is a big deal. I'd like our Service men and women to know that those at home think of and appreciate them.
